The European Photography Awards 2022 close the curtains with a favorable result, and the big winners are revealed to recognize their achievements.

BERLIN, BE, GERMANY, September 9, 2022 / — The 2022 European Photography Awards closes the curtains with a most favorable result and the big winners are officially revealed to recognize their achievements. Honoring and acknowledging exclusivity, as well as personalized masterpieces on a universal scale, the award prides itself on having understood diverse photographic genres around the world, elevating their skills to the max.

Even with its newly expanded establishment, the award has received nominations exceeding 50 nations competing for the highest recognition, with submissions coming from the UK, US, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Spain, Singapore, Portugal, Italy, France, Netherlands, Finland, Australia, etc. In this season alone, more than 2,800 entries were received, as some outstanding footage headed for glory.

2022 European Photographers of the year
All entries are carefully evaluated against their respective criteria under strict impressions, and with that the surface of the best among hundreds of entries. Thus, the European Photography Awards 2022 unveil the Professional Photographer of the Year: Mentawei: Guardians of the Forest by Jatenipat Ketpradit (Thailand) and presents a cash prize of €3,000; Amateur/Student Photographer of the Year: Night of Europe by Antonio Denti (Italy) with a cash prize of €2,000.

Picking up the honors for Best Image Submitted in all separate categories, these photographers proved their images elevate the benchmarks, setting them apart as Category of the Year winners. Those who hold the titles are divided into professional and amateur/student levels to level the competition, and each winner is rightly given €100 in cash prizes to celebrate their achievements:

This time, the esteemed members of the international jury further facilitated their views on the in-depth evaluations, ensuring that high standards were imposed to meet the enormous efforts of all participants. Delivering a promising verdict, some of these high profile personalities include Donell Gumiran (United Arab Emirates), Derek Galon (Dominica), Rémi Masson (France), Gigi Chung (USA), Dawid Galinski (Iceland), Lillian Liu ( Canada), Jai Thakur (India), Elena Paraskeva (Cyprus), Viral Padiya (India), Amyn Nasser (Canada) and other dedicated jurors.
