India’s largest utility vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors today unveiled 21 new utility vehicles across all segments. These 21 new vehicles belong to the medium and heavy utility, intermediate and light utility, small utility and bus categories.
The company unveiled 7 new vehicles in the M & HCV category in the construction, semi-trailer and rigid truck range with higher fuel efficiency. The I & LCV category includes 5 new vehicles with a GVW of 4 to 18 tonnes with CNG powertrains, increased deck length and ultra stylish cabins. In the SCV category, Tata Motors unveiled four multi-purpose vehicles and five new buses, including an E-bus.
âDesigned and engineered to meet the evolving needs of freight and people transportation across segments and applications, these state-of-the-art vehicles further enhance Tata Motors’ established ‘Power of 6’ benefit proposition to meet for specific uses and applications while delivering higher productivity and a lower total cost of ownership, âTata Motors said in a statement.

Unveiling the new vehicle lineup, Tata Motors Executive Director Girish Wagh said the 21 vehicles the company is showing today are designed to meet the changing needs of the Indian economy and its growing demand for efficient transportation. .
âEvery aspect of these vehicles has been purposefully augmented to meet both varied duty cycles as well as special applications. Incorporating the latest technological advancements, refined powertrains, and improvements in comfort and convenience, our vehicles are ideal for meeting the needs of customers using the vehicle for more revenue with lower costs for more profit, âhe said.
Tata Motors has been at the forefront of technology and product innovations. In the category of medium and heavy commercial vehicles, Tata Motors has so far deployed more than 25 lakh trucks, with more than 1 lakh of BS6 vehicles.
The 7 new vehicles unveiled in the M-HCV category are Signa 5530.S, Signa 4623.S, Signa 4625.S ESC, Signa 4221.T, Signa 4021.S, Signa 3118.T and Prima 2830.K. In the category of medium and light commercial vehicles, 5 new vehicles unveiled are the Ultra T.18 SL, 407G, 709G CNG, LPT 510 and Ultra T.6.
The vehicles included in the category of small utility vehicles and pick-ups are the Winger Cargo, Ace Petrol CX, Ace Gold Diesel + and Intra V30 High deck cab chassis. In the passenger utility vehicle category, the company unveiled the Winger 15S, Starbus 4/12, Starbus 2200, Cityride Prime and Magna coach.
Tata Motors stock closed at Rs 481.80 crore today, down 16.1 or 3.23%, from the previous session’s close of Rs 497.9 on the NSE.
