Ryan Reynolds made a career out of his sense of humor, and his old job is the focus of his latest commercial. Reynolds, who owns a stake in Mint Mobile, appeared in the company’s latest ad campaign, promoting its “Buy 3 Months, Get 3 Months Free” deal, joking that he knows a thing or two. on “scary bad contracts”. The contract Reynolds alludes to is his involvement in a 2000 film titled Bolted collar, which is a modern version of Frankenstein.
Bolted collar starred Matthew Lawrence as Frank Stein, a college student who receives the brain of a serial killer after suffering a freak accident falling into a waterless swimming pool. Reynolds played a supporting role, and in the clips dotted with the Mint commercial, it wasn’t exactly high art.
Reynolds recently announced plans to step back and fans are wondering how the Red Notice star plans to spend this extra time. The father of three can’t wait to spend more time with his daughters, which he shares with fellow star Blake Lively. Reynolds doesn’t plan to make another movie until the end of next year.
During the Red Notice first, said Reynolds PEOPLE he didn’t want to miss watching James, 6, Inez, 5 and Betty, 2, grow up. âWe all want to be together during this time. Our kids are still quite young and I don’t want to miss that,â the Free Guy star said. He made a similar comment to Access Hollywood Wednesday, noting that their three daughters “are growing faster than time and space would suggest, so I want to be there⦠I want to spend time with them.”
Reynolds doesn’t intend to go away completely. He has said he could resume filming a project by the end of summer 2022. Plus, he really won’t feel like he’s taking a break for his fans. Red Notice, who co-stars Gal Gadot and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, hit Netflix on November 12. He also recently filmed Fiery, a musical interpretation of a Charles Dickens story performed by Sean Anders and John Morris. The film, which also stars Octavia Spencer and Will Ferrell, has no release date yet.
