A Welsh digital arts platform has announced that Michael Sheen is funding a new support and skills scheme for creative freelancers in Wales.

Creative Ambitions Wales is an online program designed by creatives for creatives and run by AM amam.cymru, the arts presentation website and app in Wales.

Launched in March 2020, AM was created as Wales’ first cultural digital platform which would be a way to share and discover Welsh creativity from theater to literature, music, film and more .

The Creative Ambition program aims to support freelancers who have been hit hard by the pandemic, including those in the performing arts, events and live sectors like live performance.

Topics covered will include topics such as audience awareness, creative problem solving, smart risk taking and creative problem solving, to networking skills, overcoming impostor syndrome, costing your work and the technical aspects of freelancing.
