Director Philippa Price joins Superprime for US sales representation

Philippa Price, London-born, Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary designer and director behind some of the most cutting-edge visual, fashion and film experiments of the past decade, has joined Superprime’s roster of talented filmmakers. .

Philippa’s distinctive blend of futuristic surrealism stems from an early love for science and design, which she pursued at Parsons School of Design. After graduating, she returned to Los Angeles to work at Commune Design, specializing in architecture and graphic design. Philippa then launched Guns Germs $teal (GG$), a boundary-defying menswear brand that quickly gained international acclaim from Vogue, Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), and Vice, among others.

In 2014, Philippa established herself in film, becoming the visionary force behind campaigns, music videos, performances and tours. She has worked with a wide variety of artists including Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, Camila Cabello, Grimes, as well as brands such as Stella McCartney, Puma, Balmain, Savage x Fenty, Playboy, Apple Music and Absolut Vodka. She was named one of “The Daring 25” by Condé Nast in 2016, which recognized the year’s most fearless people, companies and innovators.

“As a creator and director, I seek out the lushness of primary essences and emotions in the context of the not so distant future,” says Philippa. “I see myself and my work in a constant state of growth, and Superprime has created a creative-centric space in which I can continue to grow, experiment and evolve.”

According to Michelle Ross, Managing Director/EP of Superprime: “Philippa proved to be a force of nature, conceptualizing and launching some of the most memorable installations and visual arts of the modern era. We are inspired to further explore his full range of talents in the world of advertising and branded content. »
